Programs & Services
Homework help - With Tutor.com students, from elementary school through college, can get real time help on everything from math to writing.
Test Prep – Prepare for (nearly) every test, from GED to SAT, from occupational to military exams, all with Learning Express Library and Tutor.com
Reading Recommendations - Find accelerated readers lists, notable literature for kids, recommendations to help work through your child's concerns, or just to find the next good book with NoveList K-8.
Special Events - Throughout the year, the library provides several special programs that may include crafts, dance, magic, animals, and much more. These events are posted to the library’s website and are on the Events Calendar.
Storytime - All locations of the library perform story hours for a variety of age ranges. Baby and Me for up to 2 years of age and Storytime for ages 2 to 5. Check the library Events Calendar for convenient times and locations or stop in and pick up a calendar.
Summer Reading – Boyd County Public Library sponsors a reading program for all ages, birth through adult, including Teen Summer Reading program. The program runs from June through July with sign up beginning in May. Check the library’s website and Events Calendar beginning in April each year.

BookFLIX from Scholastic is an online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning. The engaging way to link fact and fiction, BookFlix reinforces early reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration. Grades Pre-K through 3.

Drama for Students
Educate Station is an online educational resource providing ready-to-use, teacher-created curriculum for Pre-K through 5th grade, covering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Social Emotional Learning. It offers printable worksheets, weekly/monthly learning plans, and hands-on activities designed for homeschooling, classroom, or home supplementation.
