Japanese Culture Club - Ashland

The Anime & Manga Group is now the “Japanese Culture Club” and under new management! This is a monthly program to bring together people of all ages who enjoy or are curious about various aspects of Japanese culture. This club will use a multimedia and hands-on approach to provide Japanese themed activities.

August: Learn about the Japanese holiday of Obon, the Bon Festival. Decorate your own paper lantern and learn the steps to a traditional Bon Odori dance.
