Teen
Input Wanted
at The Library

The Teen
Library Council is now accepting new applicants.
"The best
way to serve teens is to get their input. They have very specific
ideas on what they want, like and need. Those ideas change on a
regular basis and the library would like to be responsive to those
needs," said Debbie Cosper, director of the library.
The board will
select books, movies and other materials for the library to purchase,
as well as help plan teen programs, including Teen Tuesdays, a social
and educational teen group that meets the second Tuesday each month
during the school year.
The Teen Library
Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the
Main Branch, 1740 Central Ave. Participants will help select books,
movies and other materials for teens, and will help plan programs
for teens, including Teen Tuesdays, which also meets on the second
Tuesday of the month. Members of the Teen Advisory Board can miss
no more than 3 meetings in a year’s time.
Please give
this application to Kellie Nunley, Boyd County Public Library, 1740
Central Ave., Ashland, KY 41101. For more information, call her
at (606) 329-0518, ext. 1810.
