Teen Tuesdays is a new program at the Boyd County Public Library for area youth ages 13 to 17.

Participants will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Main Branch. Each month will feature a fun, informational program, activity and food!

Teens can also join the library's Teen Advisory Board and help advise on library programs and services, or take part in a teen newsletter.

Come meet other area teens and have fun @ your library!

Monthly programs will include sessions on car care and prom preparations, Halloween and Christmas parties, movie night, karaoke night, a talent show and others.

Participants in Teen Tuesday will help design the program. We want your suggestions on programs you'd like to see offered.

We also need local teens to join a Teen Advisory Board for the Boyd County Public Library District. Board members will be asked to meet once a month with library personnel to give their comments on library materials, services and programs and their ideas for improvement.
