The Boyd County Public Library, Genealogy Staff is in the process of compiling a county marriage index from the original early records, covering the years 1860 to 1883. The project is coordinated by staff member Judy Fleming with the help of staff and volunteers. Click Below to View Indexes Alphabetized by the grooms' last names: Click Below to View Indexes Alphabetized by the brides' last names: An interesting side note: While doing the page by page index we found that the microfilm copy contains, first, book 1 then book 2. At the end of book 2 a new book 1 appears with missing months from the first of the film. If you need help when reviewing the original records on microfilm please feel free to ask for assistance.
