Unusual Talent Celebration
Dec. 28, 2006

The library wanted to celebrate youth (age 18 and under) with unusual, and often uncelebrated talents. That’s why Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, was designated An Unusual Talent Celebration throughout the library district. We had a great turnout (30 kids and 20 parents). Talents ranges from burping the alphabet, to sounding like a bottle rocket, to eating packs of ketchup to hula hooping. And there were eating contests at each branch. It was all done in celebration of the Charlotte's Web!

Note: You can view pictures (1) individually by selecting them from the drop-down menu at the left above, (2) page through them manually by pressing the >> or << arrow buttons or (3) view an automated slideshow by pressing the "Start" button. (On the slideshow, pictures appear about 10 seconds apart. And, note, the slideshow works best with a broadband connection; obviously, you're welcome to try the slideshow with dialup, but it may be sluggish in loading the images and, as a result, may get out of correct sequence.)
