If you would like to have a librarian locate books for a specific unit, just call the library and a librarian will be glad to pull a selection of books and other materials and notify you when your materials are ready. (Please allow 1 week for processing your request.)  We are in the process of developing an online form for this service, so watch this page for new developments!

Have a librarian visit your school! The Youth Services librarians will come visit your classroom, with services ranging from story times for younger children to booktalks for teens. Call (606) 329-0518, ext. 1301, to schedule an appointment.

Tour the library! Want to bring your class to the library for a tour and special storytime? We’d be happy to have you! Call (606) 329-0518, ext. 1301, to schedule an appointment.

The library has an Ellison Die-Cut machine and a collection of dies at the main library, and it is available for teachers to use. Call (606) 329-0518, ext 1301, to schedule an appointment to use the machine. (You are welcome to use our die-cuts, but please bring your own paper.)

Have students that need a little extra help? Be sure to refer them to the library website – we offer live homework help from Tutor.com! It’s free and anonymous, and available to students from grades 1 through 12, as well as adult learners.
